Schultz von Schleswig is a stunning 1-2 year old sable German Shepherd.
Per foster mom:
The world seen through Schultz's eyes is a place of hope and happiness and new delights at every turn. This dog is sweeeeeet, and wiggles with delight at every opportunity to make a new friend, whether human or canine or (we think) feline. Schultz is a smart and observant boy who enjoys nature shows, watching airplanes overhead, and the Daily Show opening credits. Even better if he's watching from the vantage point of your lap. If he's not sure about a noise or a stranger, he will warn you and prepares to defend you in true Shepherd style, but the second you give him a reassuring word or pat, his tail goes wild and he's ready to make yet another new BFF. Schultz's joy is all the more amazing given that he's had a rough start in life: he arrived at Westside terribly skinny and with his rear legs broken. He's still regaining strength in one leg, and will likely be a playful, energetic-but-not-hyper boy when he's fully recovered. Will you and your family (furry and otherwise) let Schultz give you kisses all day long?
